VR Headset ‘Mi’ Launched by Xiaomi on Thursday

Xiaomi has offered a wide range of various kinds of high quality products that includes Xiaomi Smartphones, Xiaomi Laptops, Xiaomi Electronics Accessories etc. After getting success in several kinds of tech markets, Xiaomi now has entered the VR Headset Market too. After the others such as Samsung, HTC, One Plus, Lenovo, Coolpad etc Xiaomi has now launched ‘Mi VR’ Headset in the Market.

Highlights of the Device :

• It is the First VR Headset from Xiaomi, Recently the firm has launched its first Laptop too.

• Beta Reservations for this Headset are open now.

• Xiaomi has not revealed details about price & availability of the product.

Xiaomi earlier has released a teaser on social media about firm’s first ever VR headset and now the company has officially launched it. In recent past Xiaomi has shown that the firm can manufacture anything as it has launched products such as Smart/Super TVs, Smartphones, Tablets, Laptop, Smart Wearable, Portable Mosquito Repeller and now launched VR Headset too.

Design “Mi VR Headset” :

The Device has easy to access Two-way Zipper Design so that user can easily insert or remove Smartphone into the Headset. Apart from providing easy access, the Zipper design also protects the Smartphone from falling out of the Headset. Xiaomi Claims that this zipper design makes it possible for the user to use this Headset with various Smartphones. Headset has two openings, from one opening users can adjust the Smartphone placement and the other opening is to keep Smartphone cool.

Specifications of “Mi VR Headset” :

While having 201 x 107 x 91 mm Dimensions and 208.7 Grams Weight, the Headset can fit 4.7 to 5.7 Inch Smartphones in it. Form providing amazing Clarity as well as Accuracy, Xiaomi has used Anti-glare Lenses that have only 0.01 mm Tolerance. The Headset also features non-slip pads. The device is made of EVA Fabrics thus it is Comfortable as well as Lightweight.

Price and Availability :

Xiaomi has announced this device in China Only. Although price and availability is not announced yet but Beta Testers who registers for the device and gets successful registration can acquire it at CNY 1. The Headset works along with Mi VR App and allows users to enjoy 2D & 3D Movies, HD Games and many more things.
