Apple is very particular about its products and takes extra measures before the actual product launch. Apple gave its full attention to the new Mac lineup for the month of October and kept its dedication for the same. As per reports and rumours the new iPad model is to flaunt some significant changes in it. According to some fresh rumours and leaks the next generation iPad is to show all the changes instead of creating a refreshed model for the existing one.
Feature Highlights for the new iPad
• The iPad is expected to flaunt a larger display screen of 10.9 inch but will keep the overall size similar to iPad Pro with display screen of 9.7 inch by reducing the size of the bezel.
• The top bezel is expected to be of same size and is the location of FaceTime but the thinning of the bezel is expected to be done in the sides.
• The new iPad is also rumoured to ditch the home button completely and make way for a large display screen.
• In order to narrow the bezel the iPad is also expected to be slightly more thicker and the thickness is expected to be increased by around 7.5mm.
Significant changes also rumoured for iPhone 8
There are similar but significant changes also thought to be done in the iPhone 8 and it is rumoured that the phone is also to ditch the Home Button. The phone is also expected to sport a curved OLED display without bezel and will be replaced by optical fingerprint. The iPhone 8 is expected to have OLED display but as of now there cannot be anything specific ascertained about the iPad lineup.
The rumoured changes for the new iPad was reported by Macotakara but as of now there is no official hint provided by Apple. We cannot be sure about the changes that are expected to happen but can be prepared for better refreshing models. Apple currently sells iPad Pro in the market with two size variants which are of 9.7 inch and 12.9 inch. Apart from that it is also sells iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini4. With the specifications tipped about the new iPad it is likely that the model will flaunt better and refreshing changes.
