LG V10 Successor will be Launched This Quarter

LG has launched various Smartphone such as LG G5, LG Stylus 2 Plus, LG V10, LG G4 Stylus etc in recent Past. Now it is confirmed by LG that the firm will launch a new V Series Smartphone in 2016’s Third Quarter. The new Smartphone is expected to be the Successor of V 10 and it may be dubbed as LG V 20.

• LG released the economic report which shows around $132 Million loss in the Smartphone Unit of Company.

• V 20 will be a step forward to overcome this loss.

• V 10 (The Predecessor of V 20) has Dual Front Camera Setup.

Announcement for launching:-

LG announced the economic report of second quarter of year 2016 which shows LG has a loss of $132 Million on its Smartphone Unit. The plans to overcome this loss have started as LG also confirmed that the firm will launch a new Smartphone in its V Series. LG also announced that even after the loss, Overall Shipment of Smart Phones has increased by 3%.

LG has not reveled anything much about this new Smartphone but there are expectations that V 20 may be launched in September this year. The loss not only depended on Sales of V 10 but the low sale of LG G5 also caused a huge loss for the firm. LG is looking for overcoming this loss by LG V 20.

To recall, V 10 was launched in October 2015. The most amazing thing about this device was its Dual Front Camera Setup. The Device has Two Lenses which can easily capture wide 120 degrees angle selfies. Although the Smartphone unit has a loss but overall the firm got profit of $501 Million in the same quarter.

LG is a big brand name in the Electrical and Electronics Market and the Smartphone Unit is launching various Smart Phones but this loss caused LG to rebuild the plans and the first step is launch of New Smartphone in V Series. As the firm not has any loss overall it is hoping for a bright future in the Smartphone industry too.
