Huawei launched Honor 6X with Dual Camera with VoLTE Support and dual camera setup

Huawei is an emerging brand for smartphones and recently has announced the launch of the latest Huawei Honor 6X smartphone at an event in China. The pre-orders for the phone have already started in China and the shipping of the phone starts 25th October onwards. The phone currently comes in three bundles based on the storage size and all the three phones are priced according to the size of their memory.

Highlights of the phone

• The phone is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is based on EMUI 4.1 OS and also runs on 4 x 2.1 GHz + 4 x 1.7 GHz Kirin 655 Octa-Core 16nm Processor along with Mali T830-MP2 GPU.

• The Huawei phone sports a full HD display screen with IPS display for enhanced display along with 2.5D curved glass protection. It has a display screen size of 5.5 inch and a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

• The inbuilt storage comes in three different variants with combination of 3GB RAM & 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM & 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM & 64GB ROM. All the phone are expandable by up to 128GB in microSD card.

• It sports a dual camera set up on rear with a 12-megapixel sensor with PDAF along with a 2-megapixel sensor below. It has a front camera of 8-megapixel and both the rear and front camera has LED flash.

Connectivity and Convenience

The phone supports hybrid dual SIM slot with Nano SIM slot along with Nano/microSD slot. The phone has great connectivity features with support for 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth compatibility for instant data transfer, supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. It is backed by a 3340mAh for superior talktime and supports fast charging. It comes with a fingerprint sensor which is able to read prints and is capable of unlocking the phone is 0.3 seconds.

Conclusion

The phone is an upgraded version of Honor 5X that was launched last year and is currently launched only in China. It comes in three bundles with 3GB RAM & 32GB ROM at price of CNY 999 (approx Rs 9,900), 4GB RAM & 32GB ROM priced at CNY 1,299 (Roughly Rs 12,900) and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 15,800). The phones currently will be available in five colour variants of gold, grey, blue, silver and rose gold. There is no information about the launch of the launch in other international markets.
