Honor 8 Going to be Launch at July 11

The Chinese telecom giant Huawei is introducing its new product Honor 8 on July 11th in China at 6.30 pm as per China’s time at Shangai Oriental Sports Center. It is the successor to Honor 7.Its launch date in India is not confirmed, yet.

This Smartphone is supposed to be the most beautiful from the house of Huawei smartphone. It is rumored to have a2.5 D curved dual glass design with minimal bezels and a metal body.

Features:

Under the hood it has such features such as Kiran 955 processor, which will be clubbed with a 4GB of RAM space. For Security it will have a finger scanner and will be powered by a non removable 3200mAh battery. It will run on Android Marshmallow out –of- the-box technology. The NFC, USB Type C and fingerprint sensor are the major features of this phone. The Smartphone has passed TENNA certification, confirming the dual rear camera setup. The Smartphone will offer an internal storage option of 32/64/128 GB .The weight of the camera is 153 grams. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi is other built in features. It could potentially offer wireless charging support.

Camera:

It will have a dual 12 MP camera at the back, like the one in Honor V8.It will have an 8Mp selfie front camera.

The display will be 5.2 inches with 1080p resolution.

Different Variants:

The phone is expected to be launched in four variants, namely:

FRD TL 100

FRD DL00

FRD AL 100

FRD AL 10

All the above variants will differ in network connectivity (some of them will support all networks in China) as well as storage. The RAM will be in configuration of 3G RAM + 32 GB, 4GB + 32 GB, and 4GB + 64 GB storage variants.

Pricing:

In the 32 GB category with NFC feature the price is expected to be 2199 Yuan. The one without NFC will be for about 1999 Yuan. People have the option of buying either the 64 or 128 GB variant. The former is for 2499 Yuan and the latter for 2799 Yuan.

SIM Card:

It has a Dual card, dual standby and dual active (One micro chip, one Nano SIM/SD card.

Operating System:

The Operating system is EMUI 4.0(Android 6 )

So we will have to keep our fingers crossed as previously two deadlines have been skipped for the launch. The phone is supposedly code named Faraday.
