Features and Specifications

The weight of this smart watch is 15.5g the main unit and the 26g the watchband. The display of the watch is multicolor 1.3inch OLED. It supports Bluetooth of range 10m and NFS are the only connection parameters. The dimension of the device is 36mmx36mm and thickness of 8mm. the battery of the device is enough to take full day use and can be recharged through USB cable. This watch is compatible with some of the Android smartphones like Motorola Droid Razr, Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X, S and V. Android v2.1 is loaded in it. The chipset is 200MHZ Qualcomm M3 which is less powerful than 800MHZ Exynos chip used in the Galaxy Gear

Design and Quality

This is indeed a small screen having a clip attached to it. The screen is made up of hard plastic and is beautifully surrounded by the black color bezel. The bottom of the watch is white while the sides are made up of aluminum. The bottom has the white plastic which makes the device look little cheaper, it should have been replaced with aluminum. The back carries the non-removable clip which is a means to attach the strip to the watch base and also the charging cable. The underside has some indentations along with some pins while the cable has been designed like gripping hand which actually snaps the indentations and relies heavily on the clip in order to hold the metal connections and this means of connections is very bad as it may lose the connection with just little fly which is the most common issue with this watch. The main button is located towards the right side of the watch which is the power button and is tucked inside the aluminum ribbon and may be hard to press which is another issue with this device.

OS and Tech

OS here is Android v2.1 which is preloaded and it works perfectly fine with Android smartphones as mentioned above. The pairing of the device is required with the smartphone through Bluetooth connection. Numerous apps are pre-installed in it and swiping through the small screen with finger enables the apps to get activated like messaging, calls, calendar, music player and Facebook though it doesn’t have many apps installed on it. The working of some of the apps on this watch is really painful as the chipset is not much powerful.

Camera and Multimedia

This watch doesn’t have any camera attached to it as compared to Galaxy Gear which possesses a camera and thus no multimedia support has been provided to it.

Battery and Memory

The battery attached to the device is though small but it can work up to 1 week if the use of the device is mostly as wrist watch rather than as smartphone, while it may go running for 3-4 days if the device has typical use like emails etc. on the other hand under heavy use, it would last for 24hrs which is not bad but connecting the charging cable is a headache here. The built-in memory capacity is not known but there is no slot for the expansion of memory which shows that no further apps can be installed to it.

Verdict

This device has too many flaws which range from the small inconvenience in handling it to the design laps. At the price it has been offered is expensive. This device is not at all recommended to anyone as smartphones are better than any smart watch available in market.
