MTS Blaze 4.5 Mobile Price List in India

MTS Blaze 4.5 is a recent launch from the MTS Company with CDMA and GSM and a powerful 1.2GHz Quad Core processor. This mobile was launched in April 2014.

Features and Specifications: 

It’s a dual SIM mobile (micro SIM). It supports CDMA in SIM 1 and GSM in SIM 2. This gadget supports 2G and 3G network.  It also has EDGE and GPRS. The internet browsing is through Android Web kit.

Design and Quality:

It is sized at 4.5 inch with a FWVGA touchscreen display. The dimensions are 133 * 66 * 11 mm. The screen is of capacitive TFT type with 262144 colors. The resolution is of 480 * 854 pixels and 218 ppi density giving an average display and movie watching experience.

OS and Tech:

The operating system supporting this slim device is Android 4.1.2. Jellybean. This is not the latest OS available and it is not upgradable also. This is where this mobile lacks amongst its competitors. The processor given by MTS to this gadget is the Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 powered with 1.2 GHz speed. The RAM provided is 1 GB which ensures fast and smooth running of the device. The processor being a good one allows you to enjoy your games or songs at fast speeds.

Camera and Multimedia:

The rear camera of this mobile is of 5.0 MP with auto-focus, digital zoom and a LED flash. This allows user to take some decent photos in the dark as well. But, the front camera doesn’t fulfill your expectations. The front camera is poor with 0.3 MP. It can’t be used satisfactorily for video calling either. Taking photos with the front camera is not recommended at all. The audio format supported is MP3 and the video format supported is MPEG4. It comes with a FM radio.

Battery and Memory:

The battery is 1600mAH and of Li-ion type. It provides a talk time of up to 4 hours on 2G networks. It also provides up to 250 hours of standby time on 2G network. The memory that comes packed with this mobile is of 4GB (not so good). The memory proves highly insufficient when it comes to the expectations of a user of the smartphones nowadays. But, the memory is expandable up to 32 GB using an external card slot. This provides compensation for the low internal memory.

Other Features:

Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11,b/g/n. it also has Bluetooth (version 3.0), GPS and USB port (microUSB 2.0). the headphone is of 3.5 mm jack.

PROS:

2.      Strong Processor providing good speed for running applications.

3.      One of the lightest weight smartphone.

4.      Reasonable Price.

CONS:

1.      Outdated OS.

2.      Low battery Back-up.

3.      Inadequate internal memory.

VERDICT:

MTS is constantly trying to upgrade its mobile phone series of BLAZE. This time they have upgraded it to BLAZE 4.5. This mobile is very light weight and provides an average display. The display could have been improved on. The Snapdragon processor is quite powerful which provides a good speed for games and applications. This processor compensates for the not-so-latest OS. MTS has provided an old OS, Jellybean and has not even given the facility of up gradation to the latest OS. The battery proves weak with just 4 hours of talk time indicating you have to carry your charger with you. The rear camera proves sufficient for some normal photography. The front camera is not at all up to the expectations. The internal memory is only of 4GB which is inadequate as compared to other smartphones in this price range. The price is quite reasonable for the provided features.
