Xiaomi Devices are always there in the news. The Latest report about Xiaomi is that the firm is going to launch the Successor to Xiaomi Mi Max with the name “Xiaomi Mi Max 2” in May 2017. There are also leaks that Xiaomi is also working on a new Smartphone which is expected to be “Redmi Pro 2”. Both these new Xiaomi Devices may get the power of Snapdragon 660 Processor. The latest Xiaomi Mi Max 2, will have a 6.44 Inch HD Display Screen (same as its Predecessor, Xiaomi Mi Max). The device will have power of a Snapdragon 660 Processor coupled with 6 GB RAM. According to a tipster, it will release in May 2017 (as per his post on Chinese Micro-blogging Site Weibo). The Xiaomi Mi Max Successor (Xiaomi Mi Max 2) may pack 128 GB Internal Storage. It may have massive 5000 mAh Battery (with Quick Charge) to provide long lasting performance for the users. Earlier leaks suggest that the “Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC” may have custom Kryo cores (Same as Snapdragon 820) or it may use a combination of Four 2.2 GHz Cortex-A73 CPUs & Four 1.9 GHz Cortex-A53 CPUs. It is also reported that “The Snapdragon 660 SoC” will go into mass production while the second quarter of year 2017. There are possibilities that upcoming Oppo & Vivo Smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC.

It was reported that, Xiaomi has experienced a drop in the shipments of Smartphones in China. So the firm is going to launch various new Smartphones under the Mid Price Range and High Price Range to handle this decline that Xiaomi has faced in China.
