Toshiba back with the portege laptop series packed with 7th Generation Intel Processor

Toshiba revealed its new product “Portege X20W” in the CES Event 2017. This product is an expansion of its Portege laptop portfolio. As per the reports, this is a 2 –in- 1 laptop which has a battery backup of around 16 hours. Toshiba has always brought some new innovation to the market. All the products of Toshiba are highly appreciated by the users. In the CES Event, Toshiba claimed that this laptop is going to be a revolution of its Era as it is packed with the latest 7th Generation Intel Processor. It has a 360-degree hinge which offers five different viewing angles.

Let’s look at the revealed specifications of Portege X20W:-

• A 12.5 inch full HD multi-touch wide-angle display with 1920×1080 Pixels. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

• It will run on Windows 10 Pro.

• The device is powered by 7th Generation Intel Core Processor.

• It has two IR cameras that support Windows Hello facial recognition.

• It weighs 1.13kg and measures 15.4mm.

• This Toshiba laptop has a 360-degree hinge that allows you to use it in five different viewing modes – Laptop, Presentation, Tablet, Audience, and Tabletop.

• No details regarding the RAM.

• Portege X20W comes with a TruPen. The pen uses Wacom Feel technology. It can detect 2,048 levels of pressure. It is perfect for taking notes. You can draw on WebPages in Microsoft Edge using Windows Ink.

• There are varieties of Ports available with the Laptop – 3.5 mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, one USB 3.0 port, Thunderbolt 3 port.

• Toshiba claims an amazing battery backup of 16 hours.

• The trackpad is integrated with a Synaptic fingerprint sensor for biometric security.

News regarding its availability:-

Its price and its detailed specifications are still not revealed properly by Toshiba at the CES Event 2017. It will come in two variant – Slate Grey and Onyx Blue. It is declared that the Portégé X20W (Slate Grey) will be made available soon with the Microsoft’s online store in the US and the Onyx Blue model will be available on the Toshiba website by the end of this month.
