Microsoft Launched “Surface Pro” With 13.5 Hours of Battery Life

Microsoft held an event “Microsoft Event” in China and the firm launched its new Laptop “Surface Pro” at the event. Microsoft says this 2-in-1 Laptop is the “Most Versatile Laptop” from Microsoft. More about the new Microsoft Laptop is detailed in the following sections.
Specifications of Microsoft Surface Pro Laptop :
The New Microsoft Surface Pro has a 12.3 inch PixelSense Display Screen with 1824 x 2736 Pixels Resolution and up to 165 Degree Hinge Support (firm claims that the Surface Pro’s hinge won’t break even if its bent too far). The Laptop runs Windows 10 Pro Operating System and includes 30 Days Trial of Office. The Laptop will also have optional 4G LTE Connectivity Support via supporting Micro-SIM or eSIM Cards. Powered by Intel’s 7th Gen Kaby Lake Processor (with Fan-less design), Surface Pro will support Surface Dial (as the Surface Studio). It has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB Internal Storage. Microsoft claims that the device has around 800 new Custom Parts in it. The device has an 8 megapixel Rear Camera (with Autofocus) and a 5 megapixel Front Camera.
Microsoft has also announced the next generation “Surface Pen” alongside the Surface Pro Laptop and it will be available with the Laptop. The next generation “Surface Pen” has 4,096 Levels of Pressure. It supports Tilt Sensitivity and 21 Milliseconds Latency.
Price and Availability of Microsoft Surface Pro Laptop :
Microsoft Surface Pro is available for Pre-bookings at a starting cost of $799 (Around Rs 52,000). The firm is also offering a separate “Surface Pro Type Cover” with Alcantara Fabric at $159 (Around Rs 10,500) and the “Regular Black Type Cover” at $129 (Around Rs 8,500). Apart from the type covers, the next-generation “Surface Pen” is also available separately at $99 (Around Rs 6,500). There are no words about the price of the LTE Variants of Microsoft Surface Pro. Shipping of the device will start from 15th June. The firm is saying that the Laptop will be available in 25 Countries.
Panos Panay (Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Devices) said that the firm has created a new Category to Challenge the status Quo of the Laptop. He also said that Microsoft is always pushing the boundaries by launching something new every time it launches a device and with the launch of Surface Pro, Microsoft is delivering a Powerful Laptop + a Mobile Creative Studio packed in a Thin as well as Lightweight Device.
