Launch Date of Samsung Galaxy S8 leaked, specifications out on internet

It is true that Samsung Galaxy S8 is the most awaited phone of 2017 and there has been lot of speculations already about the phone. As per the latest leaks about the phone, the phone flaunts a metallic body. Also along with the picture of the phone there are specifications about the phone that is released along with its expected date of launch. The image and information is up from Evan Blass who shared a picture of the phone with its front and back view.

Design and Outlook from the leaks

According to the leaks the phone sports a large display and is a bezel less model. As per the leaked image the phone doesn’t have a home button with the fingerprint scanner on the backside of the phone. The front part of the phone is embedded with minimal design with the Samsung Logo at the back side of the phone. The phone sports grilled speakers on bottom edge along with Type-C USB port. The 12-megapixel rear camera is on top centre at back of the phone. There is a hardware button on the right edge which may be the Bixby assistant button but there is no information about it.

Specification leaks of the Samsung phone

There are some of the specifications leaked about the phone including its processor, display, camera etc. The phone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor or maybe an in-house one along with an internal memory of 4GB RAM. It is supported by internal storage of 64GB ROM expandable by 256GB in microSD card. The processor is expected to be faster by 11 times along with 20% increase in efficiency of battery. Two variants of the phone are expected to be out with battery capacity of 3000mAh and 3500mAh. The rear camera is expected to be 12-megapixel whereas the front camera to be 8-megapixel along with f/1.7aperture. The rear camera is expected to feature visual search option. The phone is expected to be integrated with DeX that instantly helps in converting the phone to mini Computer. As far as optics, it is also expected to have an iris scanner. The Bixby assistant enables understanding of “multi-part instructions” and the bottom of display is tipped to be integrated with sensitive display technology. One of the variants is tipped to sport 5.8 inch display whereas the other to display 6.2 inch.

The information along with the image is tipped and leaked by Blass Evans and according to him the phone is expected to be launched in New York on 29th March. The models are expected to be available for sale by 21st April. The 5.8 inch variant is expected to be launched at EUR 799 (around Rs 58,100) and 6.2 inch to be launched at EUR 899 (roughly Rs 65,400).
