This phone is company’s first of its kind launch in the world of smartphones with 4G LTE connectivity. This ensures lightning fast internet browsing speed. It offers excellent speed along with the option of multiple app use simultaneously. This device has everything you would search for in a smartphone. It comes with the feature of dual SIM with dual stand by. The colors that it is available in are Slate Grey and Steel Blue.  

Design and Quality:

This Spice Stellar 519 has a FWVGA display with the resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and a large 5 inch display. The resolution is less as compared to its co-existing devices in the market like Intex Aqua I5. Though the screen size is same as Intex Aqua and is in fact larger than Nokia Lumia 625. The 16M colors give clear display with good color definition. People who like to enjoy movies on their phones definitely will get their daily dose of entertainment from this device.

OS and Tech:

The Operating System which is the driving force for this device is Android 4.4, KitKat. This is not the latest OS available in the world of Android. The latest OS should have been provided in this device. The OS is supported by a Snapdragon Qualcomm 1.2GHz quad-core 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU. This is in turn backed up by a 1GB RAM. The processor is same as that for Lumia 625 and the RAM is double the power in Spice Stellar 519.

Camera and Multimedia:

The Spice Stellar 519 has a rear camera of 8 megapixels with a strong LED Flash. So, you can take your pictures in day light as well as low light. The Intex Aqua i5 Octa has a powerful 13 megapixels camera which is much better than this in taking good quality pictures. The secondary camera at the front is of 3.2 megapixel again weaker than that of Aqua i5 Octa but better than Lumia 625. The 3.2 MP camera is very useful in good quality video calling experience. It also clicks average photos. This device supports all types of audio and video formats.

Battery and Memory:

The battery capacity is 2500mAh. This is better than the 2000mAh battery provided by Intex Aqua i5 Octa or the Lumia 625. So, the battery life of this device is better than the competitors mentioned above. Other important feature you would look for is the storage space. The internal memory is of 8GB and expandable up to 32GB with an external slot. Only Nokia Lumia 625 supports an external memory card of 64GB. But, 32GB is more than enough for all your movies, songs, apps etc.

VERDICT:

SPICE STELLAR 519, a device with superfast speed for internet browsing and download. This is due to the first of its kind 4G LTE connectivity. This is one of the attention seeking point of this device. Apart from this, this device has dual SIM feature and an average Quad-core processor with 1GB RAM which could have been improved upon. The rear camera gives decent quality pictures and the front camera facilitates video calling. So, with the combination of lightning speed of internet and a good front camera, the video calling experience is enhanced. Thus, it brings you closer to your loved ones. It comes packed with other regular features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB connector etc. The battery gives you an average life, nothing extraordinary. This device is quite reasonable for the features it provides. Though, you can look at other devices if not interested in internet browsing and want to go for a device with a faster app and multi-tasking speed.
