Karbonn A20 Mobile Price in India
Karbonn A20 is a mediocre range phone from Karbonn brand. It had a great sell and was quite popular when it was been released. The phone has got all the features though it is pretty old now. The phone has a bigger screen of 5 inches with an eye appealing look. It has been designed in such a way that it is going to attract buyers in the first go. The company’s ultimate motto is to sell its product at a moderate price including latest features which was a great challenge. But after an immense struggle Karbonn has made its way with its attractive and quality models and to be specific Karbonn A20 is one amongst them.
Karbonn A20 is a dual sim phone .The rear camera is 8.0-megapixel with LED flash .The performance of the back camera is satisfactory but only during day time. The secondary camera features low quality VGA camera. The RAM space is below average i.e. 512 MB and the internal memory is 4 GB with 32 GB expandable memory via SD card. The android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) and 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor is quite old and requires upgrade. The connectivity options are normal as usual 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB (3.5mm), GPS, and GPRS. The screen size is 5 inches with IPS Capacitive touch property, which is slightly impressive. The battery life is 2000 mAH which is very low as compared to other quality Smartphone. The proximity and accelerometer sensors are also present as usual.
Design and Quality
The design is fine with solid texture. The phone has 5 inch capacitive touch screen with 854 x 480 pixel resolutions. The immense screen looks good and forms good grip but the resolution is too low which hampers the video quality. The dimension is of medium range and is not so heavier in terms of weight. The three navigator keys are situated at the bottom and the rest are place on the side bars of the phone. The edges of the phone are curvy with decent color which accentuates its look.
Technology and OS
The technology and OS are quite aged and needs modification. The phone performs well with android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) and 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor. Many mediocre ranges Smartphone are offering much more at this price so it would be better if the latest updating is available but there is no predictions as such in near future. So let’s hope for the best.
Camera and multimedia
Camera is not a quality one when it comes to today’s camera centric generation. The rear shooter offers 8-megapixel camera with LED flash whereas the front shooter comprises of the VGA shooter. The function of the primary camera is not at par even during day time and in low lights the image go out of focus and appears vague. The secondary camera is quite unsuitable for clicking selfies and video conferencing quality is below average. This phone is not ideal for selfie-addicted people or anyone who loves to click pictures or videos.
Battery and Memory
Karbonn phones never come with good battery pack up, same in case of Karbonn A20 which has a very low battery life of 2000 mAH. The battery condition is more pathetic than the camera itself and requires more attention because the overall function of the phone is directly linked on it. The battery drains at a faster rate even under moderate use and requires often charging which is quite inapplicable. The memory of RAM is only 512 MB and the inbuilt memory of 4 GB can be stretched up to 32 GB via microSD card installation.
Pros and Cons
· Good look
· Low price
· Poor battery and memory
· Aged OS and Android
· Bad camera
· Low resolution
Karbonn A20 was first launched in 13 June 2014. This device was quite popular at that time and is still known for its all round features. If the specifications are seen they were quite new during that time .The problem is that the phone requires certain modifications to compete with other rivals like Sony Xperia L and Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro I8552. But other than this Karbonn has released many other phones like Karbonn Titanium Octane which are quite innovative and advanced. So it is better to move on and grab something latest from Karbonn’s slot.
