It has 5-inch large screen of type FWVGA IPS Capacitive Touchscreen and has resolution of 480x854p. The processor is 1.3GHz Quad-core which is quite decent while the RAM is 1GB. The internal built-in storage is 8GB which is extended using microSD card by 32GB. The rear camera is 8MP which is capable of recording videos and the front camera is 2MP which is used for selfies and video conferencing. OS is Android v4.4 KitKat. The device is available in Grey and white colors. The connectivity options in it are 2G/3G, Bluetooth, Edge, and Wi-Fi. Battery is 3000mAh Li-ion which is indeed a surprise.

Design and Quality

This is a very simple design phone. The whole body of the device is made up of plastic. The back is also of plastic but it is not of poor quality. The edges of the device are rounded. The front of the device is all glass out of which 5-inch screen where towards the bottom, there are three navigation keys and towards the bottom are the speaker, front camera and sensor. The back of the device has the rear camera with the flash. This is a beautifully designed handset. The volume rocker and the power button are located towards the right while the 3.5m headset jack towards the top of the device. The back is removable which exposes the battery, microSD card and SIM card slots.

OS and Tech

Android v4.4 KitKat has been provided to this smartphone and this has become a norm for almost all mid range device to be loaded with KitKat OS. This is quite a latest OS and works perfectly fine here in this device too giving quick multitasking. A good support has been provided to it from the processor and the RAM and thus no very heavily performance deterioration can be observed in this case.

Camera and Multimedia

8MP rear camera appears adequate to take quality images but in real fact this is not enough. The daylight photography even turns out to be grainy and noisy while under low light, the performance of the camera gets worse. The videos recorded by it also have similar issues and too much of noise is observed in them. The front camera on the other hand is working decent for the selfies and the video calls and the quality of the selfies are very decent and presentable.

Battery and Memory

Battery is quite smart in this case and gives about 24hrs of device running under moderate use. But larger battery would require maximum time to get completely recharged and the same happens with this handset as well. RAM is good enough as it has become a norm to use 1GB RAM is mediocre devices while the internal storage is limited but the expansion to it is good enough for the users to get fascinated.

Verdict

This device overall is good in many things like it has good stylish design, latest OS, good screen, nice battery life, expandable memory, good RAM capacity but still it lacks few things which need to be addressed in the next release like the internal memory should be elevated, camera should be improved etc. but even in this form, it gives tough competition to some of the similarly priced devices in the market like Spice Stellar Mi 516 and Celkon Millennium Power Q3000 for having better specifications like higher internal storage and better front camera. So overall this is a decent device.
