Mitashi AP103 Mobile Price List in India

Mitashi has released an android budget phone which provides decent features for a low price. This Phone is comparable to other phones like Obi S400 or the Micromax Bolt A26. It meets the requirements of market standards for low end phones and provides all the necessary hardware for a smartphone. It also comes with one of the recent Android version, the KitKat. This phone has been made for lower usage requirements and to meet the economic demands of the low end smartphone market.

Features and Specifications

The AP 103 is a Dual SIM phone, with bot SIM having support for GSM connectivity. It houses a 1.3 GHz Dual-Core processor which gives a decent usability but when used for high performance, it might start lagging of working slowly. This phone comes with a small, non-HD display. It has 512 MB of RAM which is very less of memory intensive apps and games but good enough for light usage.  It has all the basic hardware sensors such as the Light sensor and accelerometer which gives a better experience which running some location based apps or compass. It houses a small battery of 1100 mAh. It has both a 5MP primary camera and a VGA secondary camera. The phone has support for both 2G and 3G net connectivity.

Design and Quality

This phone as a sleek rectangular design with all the 4 corners rounded. It has 3 capacitive touch buttons at the bottom of the screen for Menu, Home and Back buttons respectively. It comes in two variants: black and white. The volume rockers are on the left panel of the phone while the power button is present on the right. The back panel is made of plastic and houses the primary camera at the top centre part of the phone with the Flash below it. The plastic on the back panel and the buttons on the sides feel inferior and of poor build quality. However much cannot be expected of a low costs phones such as these.

OS and Tech

The OS on this phone is Android KitKat. It is one of the recent versions of android which makes the best use of the existing hardware on the device. It also provides optimizations to save battery consumption thereby increasing the battery backup.  It comes with a customized UI which doesn’t look good but provides the most used or necessary apps on the same screen which is very user friendly. It comes with all the required sensors which improve the performance of certain apps slightly.

Camera and Multimedia

The AP 103 comes with a decent 5MP primary back camera along with a flash. It takes decent quality pictures in bright light conditions but the pictures are very poor in dim lit conditions. The primary camera is VGA which takes bad quality selfies. This is way lesser than the market standards. But the primary camera can be used of r video chatting with decent quality. The display has a dimension of 3.97 inches has a resolution of 480 x 800 which is not HD. The display also shows some pixilation and lower viewing angles while watching videos. The phone comes with audio and video player for supporting multimedia files.

Battery and Memory

The battery on the AP103 is very less and is disappointing. It comes with just a 1100 mAh battery which is much less when compared to other phones in the same range. This means that this phone can be used for light requirements else charging the phone will become a hindrance during the daily routine. This phone has a 4GB internal memory and is expandable up to 32 GB through external memory card. The RAM is just 512 MB which will not support many of the popular high performance apps and games.

This is also a suitable phone for those who require a smartphone for very low usage. However, if this phone performance is average and so for those who expect good performance might find this disappointing. With the low battery and low RAM and poor camera quality, there is a chance that people might opt for something else other than this.
