Features and Specifications

This screen of this device is 4-inch offering 800x400p resolution with 16M colors and the projector displays images at VGA resolution. The screen type is IPS capacitive touchscreen. The processor giving it power is 1GHz dual core while the RAM is 512MB. The internal storage is 4GB out of which 2GB is available to users and the memory can be further expanded through microSD card up to 32GB. It has the normal connectivity options like Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and few others. The rear camera is 8MP with an LED light while the front camera is 2MP to be used nicely for the selfies and the video calls. The OS in it is Android 4.2 Jelly Beans while the battery is 1500mAh. This device is priced high. This is dual SIM device.

Design and Quality

This is a big device having glossy plastic body which doesn’t add anything to its look. This is a heavy device and doesn’t feel good while holding in hand. The projector in this device is located at the top having recessed inside of a small hole. The power button in this device is located at the top of the phone while the volume rocker is towards the side. The left hand side carries the focus control for the projector. The front of the device is glass and at the bottom of the screen there are normal three home, back and menu capacitive keys along with an extra key for the projector which needs to be held down for few seconds in order for the projector to get activated. The back cover is removable where the battery resides along with SIM card slots and microSD card slot. The biggest disadvantage of this device is the size which it feel very heavy while holding the phone near to ears for calls.

OS and Tech

The device runs Android v4.1.1 Jelly Beans and other many features are provided to it like Google browsing, better notifications and good and faster performance. The OS is well managed to provide decent multitasking with sound support from the processor but the performance lags may at times be observed due to limited RAM.

Camera and Multimedia

The rear camera takes better and nice shots. The camera has been provided with different capturing features like face/smile detection, auto scene detection, face beauty etc. the quality of the images are decent under good light conditions but under low or artificial light, the quality of the images gets destroyed. The camera is also capable of recording videos which are of presentable quality but do suffer from noise at times especially under low light. The front camera works nice for the selfies and video calls.

Battery and Memory

The device is packed with 1500mAh li-ion battery. Under moderate use, like few hours use of projection, few calls, little net surfing and the battery lasts for less than whole day. But, if the device is only used for the projection than the battery will last for only 3-4hrs. For heavy mobile users, this much battery will not last for whole day and they would require at least once recharging of the battery. Otherwise the device can be used for whole day if the projector is sued minimal and the phone is used moderate. The RAM is very limited here and due to which the performance of the device would also suffer. The internal storage is also limited but the expansion is decent enough.

Verdict

This is a good projector handset in the Indian markets especially as there is no competition to it available in the case of projector phones. No other company right now is preparing projector enabled devices so this is the exclusive one in this regard. This is a highly priced device so if someone wants a projectors device in his pocket so he/she has to compromise on the RAM and the battery. Overall the device is decent.
