Mitashi Play BE-175 Tablet Price in India
Mitashi was started by Rakesh Dugar and Hasmukh Gada in 1998 as a brand that provides entertainment and high quality education at affordable rates. They also got into the business of consumer electronics and providing DVD players in 2004. In 2010, Mitashi took the next step by getting into the business of LCD and LED television sets. Finally in 2012, they entered the tablets and e-commerce segment. One such tablet is the Play BE 175.
Features & Specifications: The Mitashi Play BE 175 is a 7 inch Tablet with a Quad Core processor running at 1.2GHz. The operating system is Android. The connections available are Wi-Fi and a Dual SIM 3G network. The device is packed with a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. It is also available at a very affordable price. Let us take a look at the features in detail.
Design and Quality: The tablet is available only in White. The design is like most other devices in this price range and quite decent. The display is 7 inches and screen type is IPS type. IPS lets you watch the screen very well even from wider angles. The screen is capacitive and allows multi touch (up to 5 points). The resolution is 1024 x 600 and pretty decent. The pixel density is 170ppi.
OS and Tech: The operating system is Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean. It is quite outdated and is one of the cons of the device. The market for apps is of course the Google Play Store. The quad core processor runs at 1.2GHz. The RAM is 1GHz. The specifications are good enough for medium usage and multi tasking. The device does not come with a graphics card which will be a problem for graphic game lovers.
Camera and Multimedia:The primary camera is 5 MP and comes with digital zoom facility. The picture quality is pretty decent but not extra ordinary which is in line with the mediocre camera specifications. The secondary camera is 2 MP and is sufficient for video calling. The audio formats supported are MP3, AAC, FLAC and AC3. The video formats are MOV, MKV, 3GP, MP4 and FLV. It also supports the PDF, TXT and PDB format for eBooks. Picture formats are JPEG, PNG, GIF and BMP. The tablet also comes with an FM radio.
Battery and Memory: The tablet is packed with a 3200mAh battery. The approximate web browsing time is 3 hours. As you can see, the battery life is quite low and you’ll have to carry your charger wherever you take your tablet which is not exactly a desirable trait in a phone/ tablet. The device has a 1GB DDR3 RAM and an internal memory of 8GB. The external memory is expandable up to 32GB which is pretty much the standard nowadays.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
1. Low price
2. 1GB RAM
Cons:
1. Outdated Operating System (Jelly bean)
2. Low battery
3. No graphics card
Verdict:
Overall, you might want to consider this device if you have a shoe string budget because let us face it, the tablet does provide quite a lot of features at a very low price! If you want a device just for watching movies and basic facilities like music and email and you do not travel too much (a charger is always round the corner) this device is fit for you. On the other hand if you expect you tablet to handle heavy multi tasking and perform well in terms of battery life, we would suggest looking at some other options. Here are some tablets you could start your exploration with: HCL ME Y4 Tablet, and Micromax Canvas Tab P666.
