XOLO Opus 2 Q1000 Mobile Price List in India

The Opus Series from Xolo has been quite the success for their sound features and specifications along with their budget friendly price line. The Indian brand has collaborated with many industry leaders to produce some of the sleekest and power packed smartphones, focusing on buyer’s interest. The Opus 2 Q1000 is the 2014 successor to the original Xolo Opus Q1000. As expected, it is an updated version of the popular Q1000, with few innovative tweaks.

Features and Specifications

Xolo Opus 2 Q1000 is a Dual SIM smartphone with a screen size of 5 inches, made with IPS LCD technology offering a resolution of 16M colors. The screen is a QHD screen of resolution 540x960 pixels at 220 ppi, offering good viewing angles and multi-touch. OS used in the smartphone is Androidv4.3 Jelly Bean, which is a newer OS and offers faster switching and multi-tasking capabilities. Processor powering the phone is a Quad Core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200, which is a new budget processor. The RAM is the same as that of the original Opus. The device has 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of Internal Memory while the memory can be expanded with the help of external Micro SD card up to 32 GB. The primary rear camera is 8 MP with LED flash and other features like Autofocus, Geo-tagging, face detection, Panorama and HDR.  There is also a secondary 2 MP camera in the device. Design and Quality

Design wise, the Opus 2 Q1000 has taken a huge leap from its predecessor. The phone is sleek and simple- yet it has an uncluttered natural look to it. The phone has a scratch-free finishing and rubberized back panel, which adds to the overall look of the phone. The volume control and the power buttons are on the left and right side, respectively. The back carries the traditional XOLO logo in the middle and the speaker slits are at the bottom.

OS and Tech

The phone is packed with Android v4.3 Jelly Bean which opens the world to a whole new level of possibilities like High performance graphics and Bluetooth smart ready support. It also provides faster multi-tasking and performance thanks to the on-board Snapdragon processor.

Camera and Multimedia

The improvement of the camera is an always welcome addition in a smartphone. Xolo has done just that, the camera has been bumped from the previous 5 MP shooter to an 8 MP shooter with an f2.0 aperture which takes impressive shots. The daylight captures are stunning and the camera as expected does not shine too bright in low light snaps. The camera also supports 720p HD recording at 30fps. The front has a 2 MP camera which takes decent selfies. The screen makes all multimedia features like watching videos, browsing and playing games, a nice experience.

Battery and Memory

The battery in the smartphone is a 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery which gives enough supplements to the phone to last a day under moderate usage, which is not bad at all. 1GB of RAM is present on the device along with 4 GB of internal memory, making it possible to store many apps and games. There is also a 32 GB of external support to back up the low internal storage.

Xolo Opus 2 Q1000 has got it all-looks that are an eye candy, features that are impressive and a price tag that attracts. The smartphone is going to be a challenge for other smartphones like Micromax Elanza 2 and Moto E. It is definitely a smartphone worth shelling out the pennies for.
