Intex Aqua i5 HD Mobile Price List in India

Launched in May 2014, Intex had released another phone in its Aqua range of smartphones. The phone is has been giving as well as receiving stiff competition from the budget segment in which it has been launched. However, the phone brings out a balanced outlook between prices, performance and looks. The camera performance, screen size and design are amongst the top features that are worth noting in this highly upgraded phone from Intex. Within the price range it is being offered, the phone has some high end features and specifications which give the phone an upper hand with respect to its competitors.

Features and Specifications

Intex Aqua i5 HD comes fitted with a 5 inch OGS capacitive touch screen with multi touch features and the buttons paneled into the digitizer. The phone provides a sharp as well asa good viewing angles with a screen resolution of 720x1280.The contrast features of the display were also on the higher end providing superior viewing experience.  The screen possesses a pixel density of 294ppi. The display type is LCD and it is fully capable of playing high quality videos. The Dual SIM features in the phone also allow the user to carry out many interesting actions.

Design and Quality

Available in two colors black and white, the phone gives an extremely classy look with its superior built and texture of the hood. The matte finished back has a very comfortable feeling and provides good grip to the user. The phone has a dimension of 145x72x8.5 mm and has a weight of 149 grams. The phone comes with the standard 3.5 mm jack placed at the top panel. Then on the right side of the phone lies the volume rockers and the power button. The front panel consists of the three standard buttons which are digitized into the panel of the OGS display. The back contains the main camera with its LED flash and the front camera is placed on the front panel along with the speakers.

Under the hood lies a wonderful palette of hardware which gives the phone its speed. The phone contains a quad core 1.3GHz processor with a Cortex-A7 ARM and the chipset is made out of Mediatek MT6852. The Graphical Processor Unit is made out of the Mali-400 and supporting all of these hardware is a generous 1GB RAM which gives a smooth and lucid multi tasking experience. The hardware is placed on the Android v4.2 Jellybean platform which can be upgradable to the higher Android versions. The Android platform makes it user friendly and interactive too. The connectivity options allowed by the phone include EDGE, 2G, 3G, Bluetooth v4.0 connectivity, and the A-GPS facilities.

Camera and Multimedia

The snappers of this phone are one thing that is impressive amongst other things. The primary camera is a whooping 13MP which shoots impressive pictures with exceptional clarity. Primary camera has many high end and interesting features which will make the shooting experience all the more better. The features include, continuous shooting, Face Detection, Auto Focus, High Dynamic Range mode and Digital zooming. The front camera also has a resolution of 5MP and can be used for taking clear selfies and attending video calls. The battery is decent, containing a total power of 2000 mAh and offering 5 to 6 hours talk time in 2G and 4 hours of talktime in 3G. The standby duration is about 180 hours in both 2G and 3G. The phone offers an internal memory of 4GB and this can be expanded up to 32GB using an external microSD card.

Intex Aqua i5 HD is not only flaunts off its good looks but it also packs enough firepower to make its way into the market and provide a decent competition to the other phones. Priced at around Rs. 8,000 mark, the phone provides amenities for playing HD games and videos with minimal lag, besides coming with the ability of taking impressive pictures by the cameras that come along with it. The competing phones in the sub ten thousand price range are Xolo Q1010i, Asus ZenFone 5, and Micromax Unite 2.
