iBall Andi 4.5D Royale Mobile Price List in India

iBall recently released an all-rounder Android phone titled ‘Andi 4.5D Royale’. From the looks of it, the phone seems quite mediocre but under the hood it packs quite a punch, considering its price. Andi 4.5D Royale is mid-range phone focused at people who want the best of both worlds, it will be attractive for people who carry two phones. Most of us have a work and a home phone, but the Andi 4.5D Royal will enable you to get rid of two phones and put both Sims in a phone that has balanced technical and design specifications. Features and Specifications

Andi 4.5D Royale comes with dual-sim slots and dual standby feature, for your eyes it has a 4.5 inch 960 x 540 pixels qHD IPS display at 245ppi. Under the hood, it has a Quad-core 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex A7, this guarantees snappy transition between applications. It comes with 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, 2GB of which can be accessed by the user, a SD card slot enables you to expand the storage capacity. Android Jellybean 4.2.2 is the OS that brings all the hardware together. Wi-Fi enabled, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G support for one SIM, and in a nutshell the phone has all the basic modern age connectivity features. The battery is of 1700mAh, which can be a bit disappointing for heaver users. Andi 4.5D Royale a 8.1MP front camera that offers a max resolution of 3264x2448 pixels,built-in LED flash and digital zooming make it a standard camera, the front camera comes with VGA resolution. In addition, this phone has 3 hidden pearls, proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensor.

Design and Quality

The Andi 4.5D Royale is a candy-bar shaped smartphone, it is made out of good quality plastic material and is available primarily in white and black colors, with other possible color variants. On the front, at the top, the phone has an ear-piece, secondary camera and an ambient light senor that automatically adjust the brightness level of the screen. At the bottom, you get 3 touch-keys, home in the middle, back-key on the right and menu on the far-left.  The only press able keys are the power and volume key, located on the side of the phone. At the top of the back side, there is 8.1MP primary camera, LED flash light and speaker is located. At the bottom there is a shiny iBall logo. Overall the build quality of the phone is slightly above average with rounded chrome corners.

OS and Tech

Android Jellybean 4.2.2 in tandem with Quad-core 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex A7 and 1GB RAM makes the phone quite responsive. Jellybean OS enable the phone to offer dial-pad autocomplete, Open GL ES3.0 high performance graphics, easier text input and faster user switching among other features. But since the RAM is limited and according to modern standards 1GB is not quite enough, the phone may experience lag and may get unresponsive when applications with high power requirements are executed.   

Camera and Multimedia

The Andi 4.5D Royale does alright in the camera department. The primary autofocus 8.1MP camera is quite regular, the brand of camera and lens is unknown. The camera comes with a flash light, limited digital zoom and does not allow HD recording. Still, the camera is good for everyday photographs and produces vibrant colors. On the front, the phone has a .3MP front camera that can be used for video calling and selfies. In the multimedia section, you get a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, you can play almost all types of audio and video files, but the phone does not come with a built-in FM radio. Battery and Memory

This phone has a 1700mAh Li-Ion battery which is not so impressive; you may get a full day on a single charge given that you do not use the phone heavily. Andi 4.5D Royale comes with a 4GB built in solid state memory, 2GB is reserved for the OS that means that you can access 2GB out of the total 4GB. The good news is there is a micro-SD card slot under the battery, you can put in a maximum of 32GB card that will give plenty of storage space.

Verdict

The iBall Andi 4.5D Royale is in direct competition with Xolo Q600S, Samsung Galaxy Trend S7392 and Lava Iris X1 Grand. All four phones are good but slight differences set each one apart. Andi 4.5D Royale is a well-balanced phone with 3G, dual sim, 8MP shooter, with good design and build-quality. If you are looking for an all-rounder yet powerful phone that doesn’t put a major dent in your pocket then Andi 4.5D Royale is the right phone for you.
