Developed by Guerrilla Games, Killzone 3 Standard Edition was released in 2011. This first-person shooter game is the first game in Killzone series to feature stereoscopic 3D and PlayStation Move controls. Involving high-voltage action, the PS3 Video Game is ideal for hardcore game buffs. Visari, the chief of Helghast is no more but the war is still going on, prompting ISA to step into action. With Helghast forces equipped with powerful weapons, ISA forces are left outmanned and surrounded. The gameplay bears a strong resemblance to Killzone 2, with slight modifications. It is set in harsh locations, such as lethal alien forest, Arctic landscapes, space battles and nuclear wastelands. Other extraordinary features include use of jet packs, close combat melee system and a multi-firing rocket launcher called WASP. The online multi-player version supports three gaming modes – Warzone, Guerilla Warfare and Operations. The Killzone 3 Standard Edition has offline split-screen support for two players, which enables two players with the same gaming console to play Killzone 3 campaign offline. An offline BotZone mode also exists that allows players compete against robots. Players can choose from 5 different classes - Marksman, Infiltrator, Engineer, Tactician and Field Medic. All the 5 classes have their individual special capabilities and weaponry. Infiltrator class has the special skill to disguise while Marksman have the ability of cloaking. The point system is upgraded with one kill corresponding to 100 points, unlike the previous scoring system in Killzone 2 where one kill accounted for 1 point. Joris de Man composed the soundtrack for Killzone 3 video game. This version was well-received by the audience, with GameRanking scoring it at 86.63% on the basis of 63 reviews.
