Features and Specifications

The weight of the tablet is 322g and it also supports SIM. It has 7-inch large screen which is made up of TFT capacitive touchscreen which also offers 16M colors. The resolution of the screen is 600x1024pi and also supports multi-touch. The OS in it is Android v4.4 KitKat and the processor is 1.3GHz quad core. RAM here is 1GB while the built-in storage is 8GB and this can be further expanded also up to 32GB through microSD card. The primary camera is 2MP with geo tagging feature while the front camera is also of 2MP for the use of selfies and video calls. The battery here is 3600mAh Li-ion which is non-removable while different connectivity features are also here including Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB, A-GPS and GSM. It is available in white as well as black colors.

Design and Quality

The look of this tablet is amazing. Both the colors are very attractive and the device can be easily lifted in single hand as it doesn’t feel very heavy. It has been made of good quality leather finish plastic towards rear while the front is all glass. The screen has not been though given any protection from scratches and smudges. The front of the device is all glass and towards the bottom of the screen has the two touchscreen keys while a central button and the top of the screen has the front facing camera with the speaker. The back carries the rear camera and the company logo. The power button and the volume button are towards the right hand side of the tablet. The design is decent enough.

OS and Tech

Quite latest OS has been used here which is Android v4.4 KitKat which works very decent in this large device. The multitasking has been decently fast with the support from the RAM and the quad core processor.  Looking at the size of the device, the RAM should have been little more elevated to about 2GB and the device would have been much faster as per users’ expectations.

Camera and Multimedia

Both the front and rear camera are of 2MP which means there is not much improvement in the performance of the rear camera who has been under heavy expectations. But after experimenting the camera, it hardly fulfills any expectation. The performance of the rear camera is not interesting, it though captures images but the quality of those images is not very decent. The images even under low light are too grainy while the videos recorded by it are also suffers from same problem. The front camera though works fine for the video conferencing and selfies.

Battery and Memory

The battery life is awesome in this device. 3600 battery though apparently seem less while considering the size of the device but since the features that have been given to this device are not extraordinary so this battery takes the device running for about 12hrs easily under normal use. But since it has the calling capability also as it has space for SIM so in this capacity then the battery gives lower life to the device. Memory is not very interesting here. RAM is just limited to 1 GB and the internal storage is 8GB though it can be expanded up to 32GB but the internal storage should have been raised further more.

Verdict

This device is decent enough in its built and few interesting features like latest OS and good processor but it is an expensive device and if someone has to buy an expensive device than why one must not invest in better performing device. The good competitor for this tablet is iPad mini which is having much larger screen and better specifications at more or less at the same price range.
