Features and Specifications

It has 7-inch screen with IPS capacitive touchscreen type offering decent depiction of colors and the screen resolution is 800x480pi. It has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage which is though expanded further using he microSD card up to 32GB. The processor in it 1GHz and the OS in it is Android v4.0.4 KitKat. It has dual camera, the rear camera is 2MP with an LED light containing G sensor. While the front camera is VGA to be used for the selfies and the video calls. Battery in the device is 3000mAh while the connectivity options include the 2G calling, Wi-Fi, microUSB and Bluetooth.

Design and Quality

The design of the tablet is very decent. The front of the device is having black color all around the screen. The edges of the devices are rounded and the back is made up of black color plastic material provided decent grip to the hand. The look and feel of the device is very good. It has all the ports at the left hand side include the microUSB port and the charging port. The back panel is removable which reveals the non-removable battery and the microSD card slot. The screen is not full HD but it produces decent resolution and colors.

OS and Tech

Android v4.0.4 has been provided in this tablet which is an older version of the Android OS. This device is a middle end device so nothing more can be expected from it both from the hardware and software perspective as well as from the performance perspective. Having older OS and limited processor as well as RAM, the performance of the tablet gets lazy most of the time and it can be used for the basic functionalities only like calling, playing games and surfing internet.

Camera and Multimedia

Camera in this tablet is just basic and there should be having no expectations from its performance. The front camera is 2MP with an LED light but the quality of the camera is not very interesting and the results are also quite discouraging. The images quality is far from fair as they are quite hazy and blurred. The videos recorded by it also have same issues and the videos are at most of the times quite jerky and noisy. The front camera is VGA which is also of poor quality but works for the selfies and the video calls though at the compromise of the quality.

Battery and Memory

Decent battery has been provided to this tablet as it has other hardware specification quite at low end. The 3000mAh battery can take this device for longer period of times about 10-12hrs under moderate use. But if heavy gaming and videos playing has been done on it then the battery life also gets reduced to about 4-6hrs. RAM is also a disappointment in this tablet. 512MB RAM would never serve the purpose and running heavy tablet this much RAM is never sufficient so this is quite a surprise. Internal storage is also limited but 32GB of expansion is a sign of sigh for the users.

Talking about the look and feel or the design of the device, this is a good table tin that sense but if we talk about the specifications and the performance so this is not a recommended or worth buying device. It has all very basic hardware and software components even at the price it has been offered. There is even much better functioning tablet available at the same or little higher. There should be a good value to the money users spend so rather than buying this device, it is good to buy those which fits perfect for its price. Micromax Canvas Tab P690 is a good alternate to this tablet.
