The device has 1 GB ram and this particular variant has a massive internal ROM of 64 GB and just like all the other Apple devices the iPad mini 3 lacks a card slot. The cellular version of the iPad Mini 3 supports cellular connectivity with the aid of Nano sim and can run on 2G 3G and ballistic LTE.  This tablet comes with a 5 megapixels primary camera and upfront it has a 1.2 megapixels secondary camera. Design and Quality:

The iPad is encased in a very slim body of just 7.5mm thickness and it can very easily be handled in one hand.  Right below the screen we have the typical Apple style home screen button which now also houses the Touch ID sensor under it whereas above the screen, right in the center we have the primary camera and there is no exposed speaker grill present. On to the right hand side of the tablet we the volume rocker and the hard key which can have a customizable feature attached to it. The power button is on the top side of the tablet along with the 3.5mm audio jack. The speaker grills can be seen on the bottom side of the tablet in between of which we can see the reversible USB 2.0 port. On the back side of the iPad we have a metallic body with the typical Apple design layout. The camera is placed on the top left corner where as the Apple monogram can be seen right in the middle of the device. The iPad mini 3 is available in three new body finishes which is silver, gold and space grey.

OS and Tech:

The iPad mini 3 comes preinstalled with the iOS 8.1 and it can be upgraded to iOS 8.3. This new update will give you wireless car play, updated Emoji and UI has been a tweaked a little bit fixing some of the bugs that the iOS 8.1 had. All in the all the UI is pretty swift and so are the transitions. The tablet can handle whatever you throw at it, regardless of the graphics or how much memory a certain app requires.

Camera and Multimedia:

The iPad Mini 3 comes with a 5 megapixels camera at the back and upfront the secondary camera is 1.2 megapixels. Verdict:

The Apple iPad Mini 3 has really failed to justify its price as it has the same specs as the iPad mini 2 except for the touch ID and new body finish. All in all if you really do want an apple device you should go for the iPad Air 2 as this tablet is not worth spending the extra money. But if you are looking a tablet that can fulfill all you multimedia desires you should definitely consider the iBall Slide Tab, as it costs a noticeable amount less and promises better performance.
