Xiaomi’s New Product “Redmi Pro Mini” May Not Support Dual Camera Setup

Xiaomi is not stopping for a single while and is launching products after one another. After launching Various Smartphones, First Ever Xiaomi Laptop, Various Smart Watches and Other Wearable, Phablets, Announcement of VR Headset and other Devices, Xiaomi now may announce the Redmi Pro Mini (The Smaller Version of Redmi Pro Phablet).

Highlights of The New Xiaomi Device :

• The New Device may have 5.2 Inch Screen (Smaller than Redmi Pro’s 5.5 Inch).

• The Device will be available in 3 variants according to RAM and Built-in Storage Size.

• The Starting Price for this Device will be approximately Yuan 1499 or $225.

KJuma (a Chinese Leakster) posted on Weibo that Xiaomi may replace the 5.5 Inch Xiaomi Redmi Pro by launching a new Smaller sibling of the device which is dubbed as “Redmi Pro Mini” (5.2 Inch). The Device will be available in 3 variants according to RAM and Built-in Storage Size which are 3 GB RAM/32 GB Built-in Storage, 4 GB RAM/32 GB Built-in Storage and 4 GB RAM/128 GB Built-in Storage. The notable difference between these two devices is the display screen size which makes the earlier device “Pro” and the new One “Mini”.

Expected Specifications of Redmi Pro Mini :

Redmi Pro Mini may has 5.2 Inch OLED Display Screen with 1920 x 1080 Pixels Resolution & 2.5D Curved Glass for Screen Protection whereas the Redmi Pro has 5.5 Inch OLED Screen. It will get the power of 1.8 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Processor. The Smartphone will also feature Finger Print Scanner (on the Front of Device, Placed in Home Button). It will pack a powerhouse of 4000 mAh which supports 18W charging.

Apart from change in display size, there is one more major difference between Redmi pro and Redmi Pro Mini that is the Dual Camera Setup. Redmi Pro has Dual Rear Camera Set up but leaked image of Redmi Pro Mini tells that this new device will feature a Single Camera at the Back Panel which will have Dual LED Flash.

Pricing of the Device :

Although no official details and release date are available yet but it is expected that the 3 GB RAM/32 GB Built-in Storage Model will cost Yuan 1499 or $225, 4 GB RAM/32 GB Built-in Storage Model will cost Yuan 1699 or $255 and 4 GB RAM/128 GB Built-in Storage Model will cost Yuan 1899 or $286.
