It is an end to all leaks related with Xiaomi Mi 5c as the firm has launched this new Smartphone on Tuesday. Xiaomi’s this new Smartphone is very special as the device has Xiaomi’s own Processor “The Surge S1 Soc” in it. This new Smartphone is the successor to “Xiaomi Mi 4c” Smartphone. Along with Mi 5c Smartphone, Xiaomi has launched Redmi 4X Smartphone at the same event in China on Tuesday. All Details About New Mi 5c Smartphone :

Mi 5c Smartphone has all Metal Body. The Smartphone will be available at a Price of CNY 1499 (Around Rs 14600) in China from 3 March. The Device will be available in three amazing color variants (Gold, Rose Gold and Black). The Smartphone has 144.38 x 69.68 x 7.09 mm Dimensions and just 135 grams Weight. It has USB Type-C Port, Fingerprint Sensor (Underneath the Home Button at Front) and 3.5 mm Audio Jack. Special feature of the Xiaomi device is, its 2.2 GHz Octa Core Surge S1 Processor. It has a 5.15 Inch Full HD Curved Glass Display Screen with 1080 x 1920 Pixels Resolution & 428 ppi Pixel Density.

The Xiaomi smartphone has 3 GB RAM and 64 GB Internal Storage. It runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow (Upgradable to Android 7.1 Nougat). On the Optics Front, The Mi Device has a 12-megapixel Camera at Back and an 8-megapixel Camera at Front. Other Features of the Smartphone are 4G VoLTE Support, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, Dual SIM Support and FM radio. The Smartphone has 2860 mAh Battery in it.

Xiaomi Surge S1 SoC :

Xiaomi Mi 5c has Xiaomi’s first ever in-house Processor and the firm has named its first chip “Surge S1”. Surge S1 is an Octa Core 64 Bit Processor which runs up to 2.2 GHz at maximum frequency. The Octa Core SoC is divided into four ARM Cortex-A53 Cores that are clocked at 2.2 GHz. The SoC has integrated “Mali-T860 Quad Core GPU” (40% better than Mali-T760). It has a 32 Bit DSP (provides better Voice Processing), 14 Bit dual ISP along with Surge ISP algorithm (for Batter Camera Light Sensitivity.
