Xiaomi announced launch of its Xiaomi Mi Max Prime at Rs 19,999 in India

Xiaomi is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer and is now all set to launch its new phone Xiaomi Mi Max Prime in India at a price of Rs 19,999. The sale of the phone is expected to start from 17th October onwards through Mi.Com. Xiaomi is all excited to announce a super sale for three days starting October 17th and the phone too is going to be a part of the sale. The sale offers multiple deals, discounts and marks the launch of the new smartphone.

Feature Highlights of the phone

• The Xiaomi phone is powered by Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS along with MIUI 8 interface and runs on 1.8GHz Snapdragon 652 processor.

• It has an inbuilt memory of 4GB RAM along with an internal memory of 128GB ROM which can be further expanded by up to 128GB in MicroSD slot.

• It sports a fully HD display screen of 6.44 inch with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels for better and enhanced clarity.

• It supports a rear camera of 16-megapixel with features like LED flash, Phase detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture etc. It also has a front facing camera of 5-megapixel along with wide angle view of 85 degree.

Connectivity and Convenience

The phone boasts of great connectivity with support for 4G LTE with VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 for instant data share, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac for quick internet access and browsing. The phone is backed by battery support of 4850mAh that is expected to give a talktime of over 14 hours. The phone has many convenience features that includes sensors like accelerometer, light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope and also comes with an infrared emitter with universal remote control feature.

The phone is a upgraded variant of Xiaomi Mi Max that was launched in June 2016 and with the launch of the phone, it also announced the launch of a different variant which is the Xiaomi Mi Max Prime. The phones are almost same but the only difference is the previous version was powered by Snapdragon 650 processor with 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM but the new one has 4GB RAM with 128GB ROM. The company has decided the launch of the phone in India ahead of Diwali clubbed with Diwali sale and thus the sale of the phone is expected to rise.
