Sony launched Sony A6500 Cyber Shot RX 100 V Camera at $1400 and $1000 respectively

Sony is one of the best manufacturers when it comes to camera and with this it recently updated new models – A6500 and RX100V (Cyber – Shot DSC RX 100V). The A6500 is a variant of A6300 along with 5 – axis optical image stabilisation and comes with touchscreen. The camera also enables faster processing as well and the camera body will be made available in November for shipping.

About Sony RX100V

It is a compact and premium camera that gives outstanding speed of processing with its new front end LSI chip and has PDAF. RX100 IV was launched last year in India and RX100 is an improved version of the same with few exclusive changes. The autofocus system comes with 315 PDAF with 65% cover for the sensor, helps in improved focus tracking and has greater processing speed. There is an upgrade of the processing speed with front end LSI chips plus Bionz image processor and is packed with 20.1 MP resolutions with 24fps burst shooting. It allows 4K video recording at 960 fps. It has great connectivity with Wi-Fi and NFC on cards and comes with 1 inch stacked CMOS sensor, 3X optical zoom and 3 inch tilting LCD.

About Sony A6500

It is the upgraded version of A6300 but with some better features. It comes with an 24.2-megapixel CMOS sensor along with PDAF points along with 11 fps burst shooting, silent shooting, Eye based autofocus, 4K video recording etc. It enables you to shoot 307 frames and comes with a front end LSI chip with speed based processor. The exclusive addition to this camera is 5 axis image stabilisation along with touchscreen LCD. With the 5 axis image stabilisation it is the first APS-C camera to be integrated with the feature and gives usage of 5 – stop faster shutter speed. The speed is compatible with both E-mount and A-Mount lenses using an adaptor.

Conclusion

Both the Sony camera will be available soon and shipping is expected to start from November onwards. The RX100 V is tagged at a price of around $1000(approx Rs 66,800) where the A6500 is to cost $1,400 (approximately Rs 93,500). The camera boasts of faster processing and allows the touchscreen LCD features making it better than the previous versions. With integration of such features the sale is also expected to increase then the previous ones.
