Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to resume sale on September 28 in South Korea

Electronics Giant Samsung Electronics announces the resume of sale of its latest Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in South Korea from 28th September onwards owing to its costly recall and initiate second half sales for the once in doubt device. The latest flagship device from the popular Samsung Smartphone company had seen its share of bad times with complains of faulty batteries leading the phones to set on fire upon charging and the company did send mixed signals on deciding the faith of the phone. Samsung announced recall of the phone from 10 markets after its launch due to case of faulty batteries and received 92 reports of battery overheating from across United States.

Resume on Sale after recall:

The recall was sent on 2nd September owing to cases of fire from battery charging and it led to dip in sales and share of the company. The sale is expected to resume in South Korea on 29th September and the price tag for the phone is to be around KRW 988,990 or Rs 59,000 approximately. The recall has led to dip in market value of Samsung and cost the company up to $5 billion in revenue due to approximate sale of 2.5 million phones with faulty batteries. Apart from South Korea, the phone sales is expected to resume in Australia by October. The ban has definitely ruined the image of the smartphone giant by banning usage of the phone is airplanes.

Features of the phone:

• The phone is powered by latest Android Marshmallow OS for smooth performance and run on the superior 1.6GHz Octa Core Exynos 8890 processor.

• With a massive inbuilt memory of 4GB RAM and an internal memory of 64GB ROM it indeed is great beast for storage.

• The phone sports a 12-megapixel rear camera along with picture amenities and is supported further by 5-megapixel front camera.

• The phone supports blazing fast 4G connectivity, loaded with convenience features, supports dual Sim and is a complete new generation phone.

Conclusion:

Samsung as a company is very powerful and has been consistent in its production, performance and quality until Samsung Galaxy Note 7 ruined it with faulty battery issue. This caused the company massive loss following the recall. With the resumed sale in South Korea from 29th September and gradually in other countries, it is aiming at recovering the loss and increase its market value again.
