On 20th September Olympus did made certain announcements during Photokina in Germany about launch of new cameras. It has announced the launch of its new Pen Line up camera Olympus Pen E-PL8 that flaunts of its leather grained fine body along with interchangeable lens. With this it also indicates the future development of EM-1 Mark II camera that is a SLR-Style mirror-less camera perfectly designed for professional photography.

• The camera is a DSL Styled mirror-less camera with an upgraded sensor boasting of 21-megapixel along with power of Quad Core Image processor.

• It comes with a Pro Capture mode that promotes lag free shooting and is equipped with a 50-Megapixel High-Res Shot Mode for images.

• The 5 –axis Image Stabilisation reduces shakes and blurs and with a shutter speed of 5.5 it enables great photography.

• The newly unveiled camera also comes with a frame rate of 120 fps and the lag being brought down to 6 milliseconds. The 4K video recording also calls for better resolution and recording power of 237 Mbps.

• The camera is developed based on Olympus Imaging Technology and boasts of popular OM-D series and enhances the overall performance.

• It gives an image stabilization of 3-axis and on making comparison with its previous launch in the series Pen E-PL7 it comes with LCD touchscreen.

• The phone also comes with greater connectivity with support for Wi-Fi and with the help of the Olympus Image Share Smartphone app, the user would be able to connect the phone wirelessly to the camera.
