Nokia E1 Powered by Android rumoured to run on Snapdragon 425 SoC processor

HMD Global now own Nokia and is all set to launch its Android based Nokia phones and there is lot of speculation about it. The company has now all the rights to manufacture phones under the brand name of Nokia. On Sunday the company announced the launch of its first Android based Nokia phone Nokia 6 that will exclusively be available only in China. It was a surprise for the market as no one expected return of Nokia to the market so early although it was expected to return by sometime later in 2017.

Launch of Nokia 6 in China

Nokia 6 is the first Android branded Nokia phone that is exclusively launched only in China and as of now the company haven’t planned its launch in any other location. The phone flaunts of a full HD display screen of size 5.5 inch protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass. It boasts of superior processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC packed with internal memory of 4GB RAM and storage of 64GB ROM. The phone supports also supports great connectivity with dual SIM support and has a battery of 3000mAh capacity that is non-removable.

Rumours about Nokia E1

There are many rumours doing the rounds of internet about another entry level phone from Nokia which is E1. There were many images leaked of the phone both sketch and live ones and many specifications were tipped from the leaks. The phone was expected to be a budget phone that is to sport a display screen of either 5.2 inch or 5.3 inch with 720 x 1280 pixels of screen resolution. The rumoured specification was reported first time by NokiaPowerUser. The Nokia E1 is also rumoured to be powered by 1.4GHz Quad core Snapdragon 425 SoC processor and to run on latest Android Nougat. The phone is also expected to be packed with memory of 2GB RAM along with Adreno 308 GPU. It is expected to be have a rear camera of 13-megapixel along with a front camera of 5-megapixels.

Conclusion

There are lot of rumours about the Nokia phone but nothing has been yet confirmed by the company. However the company has already launched its first Android based Nokia phone exclusively in China. There has been however no rumours or tips on the price of the phone but most probably the price and specifications is expected to be revealed during MWC 2017 to be held next month.
