A while ago Google started to dish out the Android 7.0 Nougat for its comprehensive Nexus devices like Nexus 5X, Nexus 9, Nexus 6P, Pixel C tablet, Nexus Player and Android One General 4G Mobile devices, slowly.

But as it is apparent Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 LTE were seemed to be left out.

Now it is reported by Google that both the HTC Google Nexus 9 and Motorola Google Nexus 6 shall get the Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade very shortly. The company has not provided any detail on the timeline though. Google never bothered to give any explanation as to why it did not do it earlier. However if you want to experience Nougat now then you can register yourself at Android N Developer preview to feel Nougat instantly.

The Notable things:

Google rolled the service of Nougat for many devices last month.

• Nexus 6 and 9 LTE were not included in them.

• The upgrade should start in the “coming weeks”.

Android 7.0 Nougat will bring a stock of improvisations, multiple window openings at once feature, revamped doze feature that starts into the action of saving the device’s energy as soon as the lights go off the device and block numbers facility plus better notifications feature that allow you to reply directly at any pop up notice. Google has released the last build plan to OEMs that points out that they can now begin to build the skins on Android 7.0 Nougat and may soon release it for the customers.

Google Corps. Is also vehemently asking indie developers to work upon their apps so that it can be hastily reached to a perfect working condition in accordance to Android N as it seems that some apps are unable to support the multi windows at once feature just yet!

And Engineering VP, Dave Burke, announced that Google has positioned Nougat in a latest schedule for maintenance and development in the coming times. The initial maintenance is all in the works already.

So quite basically Google seems to have either no idea about what is happening or probably does not care enough but all we can do at the moment is to wait and see if the updates do really happen in the “coming weeks” or what?
