MacBook Pro 2016 made its latest available in India without Touch Bar

MacBook Pro upgraded version was launched last month but there was no information of its launch in Indian market but it was confirmed that the model would show its presence soon in markets of India. Although in Apple website the models without touch bar are shown as coming soon but it was found by Gadget 360 that Apple Resellers are stocking up the latest MacBook Pro with 13 inch display screen without touch bar.

Highlights of the New Variant

• The new variant of MacBook is thinner as compared to the previous version and comes with faster and high speed supporting Intel Skylake CPUs.

• It has a display screen of 13-inch but the function keys doesn’t come integrated with OLED panel and Touch ID sensor. The display screen with Retina LED backlit display has IPS technology and comes with resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.

• It is backed 2.0 GHz Intel 6th generations “Skylake” core i5 dual core with equipped Integrated Intel Iris Graphics 540.

• The Apple laptop comes with a storage space of 8GB RAM along with a 256GB of internal storage of 256GB.

Other important highlights and current status

The laptop has great option for connectivity with support for Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.2 support for instant data transfer. It also includes a 3.5 mm audio jack along with two thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) ports. On making a comparison with the older version, the previous model has Touch bar with OLED panel but no function keys. It also included integrated Touch ID sensor enabling one to make Apple Pay and unlock the laptop.

Conclusion

It is a good to know information that the Touch Bar variant has not yet made its entry in the Indian market and it is just the non-Touch Bar variant that is currently sold in India. The touch variants of the MacBook according to Indian currency is priced at Rs 1,55,900 for 13-inch screen and Macbook Pro 15-inch variant is for Rs 2,05,900. On checking with few Apple Resellers it was confirmed that stocks on Non-Touch bar variant of MacBook Pro is now available but some retailers are still waiting to receive the units. It is currently not sold through any online retail store. The non-touch variant of MacBook pro is available in India at price of Rs 1,29,900.
