LeEco has unveiled 3 new smartphones namely the Le 2, Le 2 Pro, and the Le Max 2. These three phones are now available in China and are expected to hit the Indian market soon.

Let’s take a quick glance at the specifications on the LeEco Le 2.

Specifications – LeEco Le 2

The LeEco Le 2 comes with a 5.5 inch IPS display and a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, which translates to a pixel density of 403 ppi. The phone comes with a super impressive 2.3 GHz Deca Core MediaTek Helio X20 processor with a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU to boot. The processing power on the Le 2 is enhanced thanks to the 3 GB RAM. The internal storage on the Le 2 is 32 GB which, given the Le 2’s expected price, is not a bad deal at all.

In keeping with the tradition of offering high quality cameras on its phones LeEco has made sure that the Le 2 is yet another reasonably-priced gem for the photography enthusiasts. The primary camera on the Le 2 is a 16 megapixel unit with dual-tone LED flash, while the secondary camera is an 8 megapixel unit.

The dual-SIM Le 2 supports all standard connectivity options that one would expect in a modern smartphone, including 4G. The phone has a 3000 mAh battery and weighs a mere 153 grams. The Le 2 is powered by the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS but like most other smartphone brands these days the Le 2 uses its own UI design namely the EUI 5.8. While this isn’t a breakthrough UI it still manages to give the user the feel of something different in terms of navigational control on the phone.

LeEco is making heads turn with some interesting products this year

Ever since LeEco launched its first device the Le 1s the company has been in the news for making an aggressive push in the Indian as well as the international market. Some tech pundits were speculating that the next iteration to the Le 1s would come in the second half of 2016, however, the company clearly caught most experts by surprise when it announced three new smartphones scheduled for an India launch in May 2016.

Perhaps the excitement around LeEco phones is due to the fact that not only do they come with quality builds but are also affordable and reasonably priced for the specs they offer. It also helps the brand that LeEco is making a name for itself in other product categories such as 4K LED TVs and even an electric car of its own. The tech media is already gung-ho about the electric car calling it the “Tesla killer”. What all of this means of course is that LeEco is in the news for all the right reasons, which is not always the case with smartphone companies looking to make a mark on the global front.

LeEco Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 will accompany the Le 2 to the market

Other than the successor to the Le 1s two new LeEco devices will hit the market. The LeEco Le 2 Pro comes with more RAM and a better camera configuration while the LeEco Le Max 2 is bigger and better in every sense of the phrase. It comes with a 6 GB RAM and a 5.7 inch display in addition to other improvements over its two smaller cousins.
