Lava launched M1 Connect with 4G support in India with Jio support

Lava still designs and manufactures good feature phones with good specifications and attributes. The feature phone Lava 4G Connect M1 was launched by Lava on Monday in India at very affordable price of Rs 3,333. As per the availability of the phone is concerned the company states it will be available via retail store in a week’s time. As claimed by the company it is the first feature phone in India that is enabled with 4G-enabled.

Feature specifications of the phone

• It is powered by 1.2GHz Quad Core processor that enables great performance of the feature phone.

• It is packed with an internal memory of 512MB RAM along with an inbuilt storage of 4GB ROM.

• The phone has rear camera of 0.3 megapixels but has no front camera. The feature phone don’t have much camera features.

• It has a display screen of 2.40 inch but the resolution about the display screen is not yet confirmed.

• The Lava phone is backed with a battery support of 1750mAh and as claimed by the company gives decent back up for talktime.

First Feature phone with 4G

The Lava Connect M1 is the first feature phone that comes with 4G support and compatibility. Apart from 4G, the phone also comes with 2G Voice calling features and is compatible with EDGE. The feature phone is launched with 4G connections as the company is trying to focus on increasing availability of affordable VoLTE voice calling phones. The phone is also supported by Reliance JIO for 4G support. It might not have all the features as present in phones but with 4G connectivity, the feature phone is definitely exclusive. The phone comes with pre-loaded with Facebook Lite and the durability of the phone is enhanced with its polycarbonate body.

On the launch of the product Gaurav Nigam, Head of Lava International Ltd said – “At Lava, we strive to think ahead of the curve w.r.t product innovation and the launch of Lava 4G Connect M1 is a step forward in this direction. a sizable segment of feature phone users in India who use their phone to only make calls will now be able to access the internet; to their advantage; and that too at affordable price.” The phone will be available for purchase from next week onwards via retail stores.
