Intex Mobile has been expanding its portfolio in India by launching latest smartphones. The recent launch of Aqua 4G Neo on their website has started with an uproar. This smartphone has been set with a price of Rs. 3,690 however, there isn’t any announcement for the availability of this handset from the company.
With the continuous launch of smartphones, Intex is leading the market in India. It was rumoured that Intex mobile is making phones that are targeted to certain a class of people. With the recent launch of phones which are under budget, it is proven that Intex is not heading its product way above Rs. 10,000.
Recent Intex Aqua Series
- The new smartphone, Aqua 3G Neo, comes with Dual SIM and supports Android KitKat version 4.4.2. It has a 4 Inch screen that is integrated with 480×800 Pixel resolution. The phone is powered by a processor of 1.2GHz Quad core and 512MB of RAM. It has 4GB of total internal storage that is further expandable up to 32GB with SD Card. This smartphone supports a 2MP rear camera having LED Flash. There is a secondary camera having 0.3MP is facing front for selfies. Intex Aqua 3G Neo has GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth for connectivity. There is a 1500mAh battery that delivers 8 hours of talk time, with 180 hours of standby time. The features of this phone are amazing and the price is only Rs. 3,690.
- Earlier this month Intex also launched at a final price of Rs. 4,690. The Aqua Sense was featured with Dual SIM and Android OS. This smartphone was integrated with a 5 Inch Screen, 8GB Internal Storage, and 512MB RAM. The extendable memory of this cell phone was 32GB, having a 5MP rear camera with LED flash. Same as Intex Aqua 3G Neo, this phone also had 3MP Secondary camera. The battery was 2000mAh, which is little better than Aqua Neo.
Intex focus is on Rs. 10,000
Looking at these prices, Intex is making phones that are under budget. Earlier this month Intex launched another mobile that is Intex Cloud 4G. On the occasion of its launch, Sanjay Kumar, who is the mobile business head of Intex technology said that they were happy to launch the new 4G phone. He further added that he hopes to see the new 4G mobile providing its customers the best 4G enabled mobiles. The price of this cell phone was Rs. 7299.
There will be a continuous launch of multiple cell phones from the Intex Mobile. According to the recent Mobile tracker that was published by International Data Corporation, the Intex Company is the third top brand of India in terms of shipment. The data also explained the company’s strongest phones are under Rs.10,000 prices. Phones under Rs.10,000 will be the fourth of company’s overall cell phones. This also explains Intex main focus is on under budget cell phones.

The company has been sticking to smartphone that don’t compete with top brands like Samsung, LG, Motorola, and iPhone. With these big companies focusing on big phones, the Intex main focus is producing low to mid price range smartphone, to gain maximum market share and make profits.
