Huawei launched Mate 9 with Leica Dual Lens Camera

On Thursday Huawei launched its latest Mate 9 smartphone in Munich and the major attraction of the phone is its Leica dual rear camera set-up. The launch of the smartphone is done is batches with the first wave including China, France, Japan, Malaysia, Kuwait, Italy, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and UAE where it is priced at EUR 699 (Rs 51,600 approx). Apart from that in the same event in Munich company launched Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 at EUR 1,395 (roughly Rs 1,03,000) and the fitness tracker.

Feature Highlight

• It is powered by the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and runs on the superior HiSilicon Kirin 960 Octa-core SoC with 2.4GHz clocked 4 Cortex A73 cores and 1.8GHz clocked 4 Cortex A53 cores.

• It comes with inbuilt memory of 4GB RAM along with ARM Mali-G71 GPU and inbuilt storage of 64GB ROM with expandable memory of 256GB.

• It sports a full HD display screen of 5.9 inch with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels for better clarity and has a IPS display.

• The most exclusive feature of the phone is its camera with second generation Leica dual lens camera. It sports a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and 12-megapixel RGB sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The rear dual camera setup gives improved colour accuracy, depth and contrast. It has great features like OIS, PDAF, Dual tone LED flash along with “4-in-1” Hybrid autofocus system that gives the perfect picture combination. It also sports a front camera of 8-megapixel.

Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 highlights

The Huawei phone was also unveiled for the first time in the same event and is definitely an exclusive product with price. The phone will be available from January 2017 onwards at Porsche Design stores globally except USA and also few retail stores in Asia, Europe and Middle East. It sports a QHD display screen of 5.5 inch with resolution of 1440×2560 pixels for maximum clarity ad flaunts a AMOLED screen. It is to have an internal memory of 6GB RAM with 256GB ROM.

Both the phones were unveiled in the event in Munich and Mate 9 will be ready for sale soon. It is backed with battery capacity of 4000mAh along with Super charge technology which can charge the phone for one day in just 20 mins. It is light in weight and will be available in black, moonlight silver, ceramic white, champagne gold and space gray colour.
