Taiwanese electronics giant Asus has introduced its latest smartphone in the ZenFone series – the Asus ZenFone Max – in India. The phone can now be pre-booked on Amazon and Flipkart for Rs. 9,999 and is expected to become available in the second week of January, 2016.

The Asus ZenFone Max has a 5.5 inch HD IPS display. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor along with a 2 GB RAM. The ZenFone Max has 16 GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 64 GB via a microSD card slot. The device also boasts of a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front facing camera.
