Asus ZenFone AR to be equipped with Tango and Daydream-ready features

Ahead of the CES Event 2017, this week, Qualcomm mistakenly revealed the launch of Asus ZenFone AR on its blog. But then it removed that blog immediately, but till then everyone had grabbed the news. In the blog, Qualcomm revealed that Asus is going to be the first Asus Smartphone with Tango-enabled and Daydream-ready features powered by the new Snapdragon 821 processor. Asus is supposed to reveal the details of this phone in CES 2017. Its proper specification along with its price can only be known after the CES Event. Apart from these two highlighted features, a leaked image of ZenFone AR also got revealed.

Leaked features of Asus ZenFone AR:-

• Tango-enabled feature – This is a technology-based platform designed and developed by Google. This enables the mobile devices like Smartphones or tablets to detect their real-time position relative to the world around them, through GPS. This Tango evolved from the Google’s project- ‘Tango mission’ to ease the augmented reality on Smartphones. Lenovo Phab 2 Pro was the first Smartphone to be powered by Tango and now Asus ZenFone AR is going to be the second Smartphone to have Tango features. Tango allows your mobile to see the world in 3D. It will enhance a newfangled camera technology which will give your device a good sense of space and motion.

• Day-dream ready features – This is an interactive screensaver mode, which enables your device to “always-on information display” mode. When you enable this feature on your device, the screen will be on and the daydream app will be displayed to you. By using this feature you can, you can get a display of time, weather, photos, new, tweets etc. Recently Google has enhanced its Daydream feature with VR mode, which can ease the mode of playing videos.

• Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 – This is termed to be the latest processor available in the market. This Qualcomm 821 processor has been previously seen on high ranged phones like Google Pixel and OnePlus 3T.

• Sleek look of the phone – From the leaked pictures, it is sure that this Smartphone is totally different in looks from other Asus phones. The beefy camera is placed on the back side in a wide manner. There is a home button on the front side, where the fingerprint sensor feature is embedded.

This unique phone can provide different useful features to its users and can ease their access to UI. Users can use Google’s VR related apps like Street view, Netflix, HBO, YouTube etc.
