Android 7.0 Nougat for Moto Z Family and Moto G4 in 2016

Android 7.0 Nougat is the latest OS by Android house and is expected to be a powerhouse of performance. Right now most of the Nexus devices are already updated with the latest launch of Android OS which is Android 7.0 Nougat. With lot of speculation about the latest software, Lenovo has announced the update of its Moto Devices with Android 7.0 Nougat. With this confirmation came from Lenovo house that its Moto Z family and Moto G4 will be updated with Android Nougat in 4th quarter in 2016.

Upgrades of Moto Phones with Android 7.0

The latest OS Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to increase the efficiency of the phones and boost performance. One of the spokesperson from Motorola confirmed that the roll out will be done for few phones from Moto and mentioned only after the upgrade in Moto G4. But with this we can also expect the upgrade of the latest OS to Moto G4 Play and Moto G4 Plus. Currently people using these phones from Moto can expect the upgrade in the next quarter in 2016.

Highlights about the update

• Lenovo is making a mark with its active involvement in upgrading it Moto phones to latest Android 7.0 Nougat in fourth quarter of the year.

• The phones that can expect the update will include Moto Z, Moto Z Force, Moto Z play and Moto G4. The update is expected to set the phones class apart.

• Currently there is no confirmation about updates in other phones from Moto apart from the above mentioned range.

Currently a fixed date of upgrade availability is yet to be declared but it has been confirmed by Motorola that there will be updates in Q4 of 2016 itself. People using the above mentioned phones are expected to receive notifications and check regularly for any OTA update.
