The handset weighs 155g which can be considered as little bulky set. The design is slim and stylish giving perfect grip. The larger screen enhances its beauty with perfect viewing angles. The edges of the phone are somewhat tricky. The screen edges are curved while the set sedges are not. The back is of perfect mater metallic finish. The buttons are elegantly located at sides which can be easily accessible. The build quality of the phone is very good and the design looks very impressive. The OS this smartphone has been equipped is Android v4.4.2 KitKat which is latest in Android OS. The OS its functionality very well and provides a good frequency of multitasking in lesser time. The only problem that this phone may encounter will be the low processor and limited RAM due to which user may seem lags in activities at times.

Camera and Multimedia

The rear camera is of 8MP which does give acceptable pictures and videos. The LED flash tries hard to back the camera functioning in dim light but the picture and video quality in low light does suffer noise to some extent. The day light performance is better. The battery provided here is reduced from the previous release of Panasonic Eluga and this time it is 2000mAh. Though it seems fine for mediocre features and gives a good working all day long but it does require recharging due to the large screen under full brightness. The internal storage is 8GB which is again less than the previous Eluga phones but it can be extended to 32GB with the help of microSD card slot available in the set. The battery and memory features of the phone are not very impressive to match the claims of the Panasonic.

Verdict

Panasonic Eluga I give a good competition to its all competitors coming with mid-range features. Though this time, there were much more expectations from Panasonic but it all come out to be very mediocre phone at the end. The price is justifiable for the features and specifications provided to the set. Little concentration needs to be given on various areas like processor power, RAM and the battery life and this set would become the exclusive set under this price range. The only enhanced feature provided to the front camera is known as Blink Play which initiates a countdown of three-seconds in order to capture the selfies when the user has made a blink.
