Features and Specifications

The weight of the device is 250g which supports dual SIMS. The size of the screen is 6.96-inch of type IPS capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 600x1024p. It also supports multi-touch. OS here is Android v4.4.2 KitKat and the processor is 1.2GHz dual core. Internal storage is 8GB which can be extended further up to 32 GB using microSD card. RAM here is 1GB. The primary camera towards the back side is of 5MP without LED light while the front camera is 0.3MP for the video calls and selfies. Communication options here are Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB, Bluetooth, A-GPS and GSM. The battery is 2500 Li-ion and the device is available in black color only.

Design and Quality

The design of Celkon CT695 is superb. Though it is little heavy due to having larger screen. The screen is excellent providing perfect viewing angles. The back cover of the device is made up of good quality plastic which is divided into two sections. The top section has the rear camera towards the left corner and this section is metallic in nature while the rest of the back cover is plastic which is removable and exposes the battery, dual SIM slots and the microSD card slot. The front of the device is all glass having three navigation keys towards the bottom while towards the top are the front camera, sensors primary speaker. Overall this is a beautifully build device which looks very elegant with the black color.

OS and Tech

OS here is Android v4.4.2 KitKat which is quite latest OS. The performance of the OS is very decent which is being given good support from the RAM and the processor. The OS gives decent amount of multitasking and the performance of the device has been made quite fast.

Camera and Multimedia

The rear camera though is not give LED light support but the day light performance of camera is decent enough. Under good light conditions, the images produced are of decent quality though little grainy. Under low light, the performance of the rear camera gets v poor, one due to not having LED light and other the images quality has not been decent right from start. The front camera has low capability but this can be nicely used for the selfies and the video calls but the performance do gets affected by the low resolution of the front camera.

Battery and Memory

The battery is large enough for the daily use of Celkon CT695. The screen is large enough which consumer most of the power but it has power saving feature which can preserve the battery to be consumed more. But even then this battery requires to be recharged once a day and it gives a decent amount of time about 12hrs of device working. RAM is also decent here and the internal storage is interesting too with a decent amount of expansion through microSD card.

Celkon CT695 is a beautifully built device. It has elegant look and decent specifications. It has been offered at much decent price. It is only available in black color. This is overall a decent phone for everyone but people who are more performance conscious and expect much more from smartphones so other device at little high price but better performance are also available in market like HP Slate 7 Voice Tab which is mobile tablet and has much enhanced specifications than the Celkon CT695. Other comparable devices include Micromax Canvas Knight 2.
