The new tablet of Flipkart is here now. The company is fast expanding with tablets lineup and the latest release is Digiflip Pro XT801. This tablet is not going to support any SIM or 3G connectivity as it is only Wi-Fi enabled. This comes in very premium standard. This can be a good device for web browsing though it will not able to be used for calls. The specifications of the device are not bad but there are better devices already available in market which comes at the same price but better features and specifications.
Features and Specifications
The OS in Digiflip Pro XT801 is Android v4.2.2 Jelly Beans which is quite good enough for a smooth performance of the device and it will soon be upgrade to v4.4 KitKat. For the connectivity, it has only Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. He display screen is 8-inch which is high definition and 1200x800 p resolution also offering 5 fingers multi-touch capacity. The processor is of Intel which has been mentioned quite prominently on the cover package of the tablet. It has 2GHz dual core processor. 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with further extension through microSD card. 5MP camera at back and 2MP camera at front are available. The back camera is also capable of recording high definition videos. The weight of the device 365g and 4200mAh battery is provided to this tablet. It has 2 speakers.
Design and Quality
The screen of the device has preinstalled screen guard in order to protect the screen from scratches. The back of the device has good quality metallic like plastic. The top of the back has metallic band which carries rear camera having no flash. There is a special device to let the memory card inserted into its slot. The right hand side of the device has the power button and the volume rocker along with a microSD card slot and a microphone. The two speakers mesh is towards the down side of the tablet. Towards the left hand side, there is nothing provides either in form of button or slot. Towards the top of the device is the 3.5mm headset jack and the charging port/microUSB. Both the top and bottom of the device has the metallic finish. The edges of the screen are sharp rather than rounded. The viewing angles of the screen are also very interesting.
OS and Tech
The OS in this tablet is v4.2.2 Jelly Beans which is quite good but the device has very limited built-in apps along with the standard app of Flipkart. The OS is fast enough to give a quick performance to the device and the multitasking is quite swift and is very good for the multimedia consumption.
Camera and Multimedia
The cameras are good here. The back facing camera is quite decent in taking selfies and is autofocus while its shutter is also very fast. The front camera is also very decent. So the quality of the pictures are good under good lightening conditions but since it doesn’t has the flash light so the photography under low light may not be good. The videos are nice when run on it while the recorded with it are also quite decent.
Battery and Memory
The battery is heavy enough to give about 6-8hours of working this device. Since there is no 3G or SIM connectivity available in this device so this much time is quite enough for web surfing and playing games or watching videos. The battery is quite interesting. The RAM is limited to 1GB while the internal storage is very interesting and this can also be further expanded through microSD card up to 32GB.

Digiflip Pro XT801 is quite efficient at affordable price with many excellent features and nice hardware specifications. It has many things which can make it a superior choice over other devices like the nice screen, the memory size, the cameras, the latest OS and the battery life. It lags only in the provision of the 3G and the SIM capability this means that this device cannot be used for calling purposes. It can only be used as laptop to play videos, games and surf internet. This device is a good competitor too many big names like Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 in few things like the rear camera in Galaxy is 3MP while in this tablet it is 5MP and the performance of the camera is also not very interesting in Galaxy as compared to the tablet under discussion. The overall rating of the device is excellent and people would like to use it for their daily routine.
