The new tablet from Mitashi has been launched recently which was named as Sky Tab 2 which is an Android based Tablet and particularly designed for children. This device is spectacularly on sale for children now at very much low price. It has preloaded so many games which would definitely amuse children along with many stories, paint apps as well as many more which children want. Features and Qualities
Mitashi Sky Tab 2 comes up with 7-inch large screen with screen resolution of 600x1024p. It is having 8GB internal storage which is further expanded up to 32GB using the microSD card. It has 1GHz dual core processor. It runs on the latest OS which is Android v4.2.2 Jelly Beans. The rear camera is of 2MP while the front camera is 0.3MP. The batter life of this device is 3300mAh. There are some connectivity and communication features provided in it like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and microUSB. There is though no sensor provided in this tablet.
Design and Quality
The 7-inch screen of the screen has been guarded with tougher case as well as bumper and this has been specially designed keeping in view the tough handling of devices by the children. The design of the device is quite good and nice and it has been very easy to handle that mostly it seems like toy. This clearly means that it is plastic build all over. Everything over it is plastic like the back case and all buttons including the home button. This is particularly because this device has been specially designed for children and they don’t think much about the design and build of the device. Children only need device which could only entertain them. It is quite thick and weighs about 850g which makes it very heavy as well. All the buttons and the slots are available towards the top of the device while the power button is located towards the right hand side. The 3.5mm headset jack, charging port and the microUSB port are also available towards right. The left hand side of the device carries the big volume button. The two small speakers are provided in this device and are placed towards the right and left side of big screen. Sound quality of this device is quite nice. For the navigation, the tablet has the home button. Towards the back is the microUSB slot is located at the bottom. The screen is nice but it doesn’t have nice viewing quality and the distribution of the colors are also not very impressive and under direct sunlight, the handling of device makes little problematic. The overall look and design of the device is very good for children.
OS and Tech
Sky Tab 2 has quite latest OS but even then lags have been observed while handling this device. The multitasking and the switching among devices is not very smooth and hangs at most of the time and this is due to the limited RAM and the slow processor. The booting of this device also takes about 36 seconds which is quite slow.
Camera and Multimedia
Two camera has been provided in this tablet, one at front and one at back but the quality of the cameras are too bad. The cameras are not able to take even decent snaps. People may classify the camera in this app as below average. The UI of the camera app is very simple but there are no special camera features in this tablet which also make it little worse. The videos recorded by the camera are also of very low quality.
Battery and Memory
The battery life in Mitashi Sky Tab 2 is not impressive. Though, apparently it has 3300mAh battery but this get consumed quite quickly if the children use it for playing gaming and internet surfing. It consumes battery quite early and hardly provides 2 hours of device use. The internal memory is enough for children and the good thing is that it provides extension to memory as well which is decent enough for children.

Verdict
This is no doubt a decent tablet at low price and quite suitable for children and this is a good choice for parents, for their kids, if they are planning to purchase some tablet for their children, so this is the best option. Though, few things want compromise like screen quality, camera, and battery. There are better options also there like Asus Fonepad 8 though it is not particularly for children.
