With regard to the pricing strategy, the cost of the Xiaomi Mi5 (which was at Rs. 23,999) has been dropped to Rs. 22,999 permanently. The OnePlus 3, which has been doing extremely well in terms of sales, is perhaps the biggest competition to the Xiaomi Mi5. Therefore, Xioami’s decision to drop the price of the Mi5 is certainly wise and well-timed. Here is a detailed specs comparison of the OnePlus 3 and the Xiaomi Mi5.

With the unveiling of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in China on August 25, we expect the company to officially announce the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 pretty soon.
