There are constant leaks and information about every new phone that is expected to be launched and this did not stop images of Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus being leaked on internet. With this there are many alleged image and specification leaks about Moto G5 and Moto G5 plus. The first image and specifications of Moto G 5th generation was leaked online on Android Soul in form of screenshot. Based on the leaked images it is difficult to find out any notable difference between the 4th and 5th generation Moto Phones but most probably Moto G5 will not get a sensor as seen in Moto G4.

Features Highlights of the phone

• Moto G5 and Moto G5 plus are both expected to be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat Out of the box. In case of Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus it began rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat since October onwards.

• Moto G5 is expected to have a rear camera of 13-megapixel while the latter is expected to have a 16-megapixel rear camera. The phones are expected to have a front camera of 5-megapixel.

• Both the Motorola phones are to flaunt full HD display screen with screen size of 5.5 inch and is expected to run on Octa-core processor.

• Both the phones are expected to have an internal storage of 16GB ROM but only the Moto G5 Plus is expected to get a 32GB ROM variant as well.

Leaks and information about the phone

The leaks are just rumours and we cannot yet conclude anything based on the specification and picture leaks. The 5th generation Moto phones are almost similar to its 4th generation but there is only slight difference in the outlook as per the images leaked. The leaks are the first to surface on the internet regarding Moto G5 and Moto G5 plus and thus it is better to wait for additional confirmation for zeroing down on any conclusion.

Conclusion

According to the leaks it is also revealed that the 5th generation phones are expected to be leaked on 8th March. It is not yet confirmed if the expected date for release also covers India but there is a good possibility that it does. The phones are expected to have Android 7.0 Nougat and it is now seen that Android 7.1.1 has began rolling for Android One users with Nexus and Pixel phones to get the update first.
